Paris: Swarovski has stepped up its global fine jewellery ambitions with a new campaign for Swarovski Created Diamonds, placing its ‘Will You?’ engagement collection at the centre of a broader push into lab-grown diamond jewellery.
The campaign marks a clear move beyond the brand’s traditional crystal positioning, presenting engagement rings and diamond jewellery through a more fashion-led, contemporary lens aimed at younger consumers.
The collection spans a wide range of shapes and sizes, including round, oval, cushion, princess and pear cuts, with designs positioned across both classic bridal and more expressive contemporary styles.
Swarovski has organised the range into three principal families. The Eternity Collection focuses on traditional bridal silhouettes, including solitaire rings, halos, eternity bands and pendants. The Galaxy Collection, designed under Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, takes a more dramatic approach with pavé bands and cluster settings inspired by celestial forms. The Octagon Collection draws on Swarovski’s geometric design heritage, using step-cut stones for a sharper, more architectural look.
Pieces are offered in 18KT yellow gold, 18KT white gold and sterling silver, with stone sizes ranging from smaller accents to larger statement pieces.
The campaign also reflects a wider change in diamond buying behaviour. Lab-grown diamonds are increasingly being considered by younger consumers seeking larger stones, more design choice and greater flexibility at different price points. Self-purchasing is also becoming more visible as fine jewellery moves beyond traditional gifting and milestone occasions.
Swarovski is using its sustainability positioning as another part of the proposition, highlighting renewable-energy use in parts of its production process and the use of recycled precious metals across selected jewellery.
Despite continued pressure on wholesale lab-grown diamond prices, the brand is maintaining a value proposition based on design, craftsmanship, brand equity and retail experience, rather than competing only on stone cost.
With the latest campaign, Swarovski is positioning Created Diamonds as a long-term pillar of its fine jewellery strategy, using lab-grown diamonds to broaden its appeal among a new generation of luxury consumers.
