Malabar Gold & Diamonds Styles Saniya Iyappan for Viral ‘Kalyani Remix’

Kochi: Malabar Gold & Diamonds has strengthened its connection with contemporary entertainment by becoming the Official Bling Partner for the music video of Kalyani Remix.

The brand curated a selection of traditional statement jewellery for Saniya Iyappan, who leads the video through a series of choreography-driven sequences. Featuring regal silhouettes, intricate craftsmanship and heritage-inspired detailing, the jewellery was styled to complement the production’s dramatic costumes and South Indian visual setting.

Kalyani originated as an independent Malayalam song by ARJN, KDS, FIFTY4 and RONN. After gaining popularity on streaming and short-form video platforms, the track was released in a new version featuring playback singer Shreya Ghoshal. The remix combines Malayalam and Hindi vocals with contemporary pop and rhythm-led influences.

Saniya Iyappan, known for her work in Malayalam cinema and her background in dance, brings the jewellery to life through movement. Her performance allows the pieces to remain central to the visual narrative rather than appearing as conventional product placements.

The song has attracted strong online engagement, with its music video, dance recreations and fashion-led edits circulating widely across YouTube and Instagram. Its growing digital reach gives Malabar Gold & Diamonds access to a younger, entertainment-focused audience while presenting traditional jewellery within a modern cultural format.

Through the collaboration, Malabar Gold & Diamonds positions Indian jewellery craftsmanship at the intersection of music, fashion and digital pop culture. The association reflects a broader shift towards entertainment-led brand storytelling, where jewellery becomes an integral part of the character, performance and overall visual experience.
