Local shoppers already know the HiLife name well. The brand just wrapped up a big fashion and lifestyle exhibition at the same venue earlier this month, from July 9 to 11. But this next event is different—it is the very first time they are bringing a show dedicated entirely to fine jewellery to Hyderabad.
The timing of the show is aimed at people looking to do their shopping before the rush of the upcoming wedding and festive seasons. The jewellery on display will cover a wide range of styles, from heavy wedding sets like traditional Jadau Polki, Kundan, and antique temple jewellery, to custom gold and diamond pieces. There will also be plenty of options for younger buyers, including lighter, modern diamond jewellery and everyday styles.
The brand has carved out a unique reputation in the luxury market. It stands as India’s first CRISIL-rated and ISO-certified exhibition company in its category, which gives shoppers looking to invest in expensive gold, diamonds, and gemstones a lot of peace of mind regarding quality and authenticity.
For this specific jewellery show, the idea is to bring together more than 75 different high-end brands, including old heritage names and independent designers. The organisers want to give local shoppers a chance to see and buy rare, handmade pieces that you usually cannot find sitting in regular neighbourhood showrooms.
The business behind these events has come a long way over the last decade. It was started in Mumbai back in 2013 by Aby Dominic with just ₹15 lakh. Since then, he has built the company from a single clothing sale into a ₹80-crore exhibition business that hits more than 30 cities. Dominic, who serves as the Managing Director and CEO, says the main goal has always been to bring hundreds of different designers together in one place so shoppers can find everything they need under one roof.
This upcoming Hyderabad stop is part of a busy summer tour. The organisers have been moving quickly from city to city, both in India and abroad. They just finished successful shows in Colombo, Sri Lanka on July 14 and 15, and in Ahmedabad on July 16 and 17. Right before they land in Hyderabad, they are also setting up a quick two-day lifestyle show in Visakhapatnam at the Novotel Varun Beach on July 21 and 22.
The ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between online browsing and real-world shopping, creating a space where jewellery lovers and serious collectors can physically see, touch, and buy rare, handmade craftsmanship from all over the country in a single visit.
