Vhernier Expands London Presence With Six-Storey Flagship on Old Bond Street

Vhernier has relocated to a new six-story flagship boutique on Mayfair’s Old Bond Street, expanding significantly from its former Burlington Arcade location. The 320-square-metre space features dedicated rooms for iconic lines like Abbraccio and Calla, designed in the style of a classic Milanese palazzo

London: Italian fine jewellery house Vhernier has opened a new flagship boutique on Old Bond Street in London's Mayfair district, marking a significant expansion of its retail presence in the UK. Relocating from its previous address in Burlington Arcade, the maison has transformed a historic listed building into a six-storey luxury retail destination, bringing together its signature jewellery collections, contemporary architecture and personalised client services.

Spanning approximately 320 square metres, the flagship has been designed by Italian architect Matteo Fraticelli, drawing inspiration from traditional Milanese palazzi. The interiors combine bronze finishes with carefully selected marble surfaces and furniture designed by the late Milanese architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni, reflecting the house's emphasis on sculptural forms and Italian design heritage.

A glass lift connects the six floors, serving as both a functional feature and a central architectural element. Designed to allow natural light to reach the ground-floor showroom, the structure contributes to the boutique's open and contemporary atmosphere while maintaining the character of the historic building.

The expanded retail space provides dedicated areas for Vhernier's established jewellery collections, including Abbraccio and Calla, which are presented in individual sections. Other signature ranges, such as Verso, Pirouette and Tourbillon, are showcased throughout the boutique, highlighting the maison's distinctive approach to form, volume and contemporary jewellery design.

The flagship also features a private VIP suite for personalised consultations and exclusive jewellery viewings. The dedicated space is intended to provide clients with a more intimate shopping experience, reflecting the growing importance of individualised services within the international luxury jewellery market.

Commenting on the opening, Gianluca Brozzetti, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Vhernier, described the move as a natural progression in the maison's European retail development. He highlighted London's importance as an international luxury destination and said the larger flagship reflects the brand's ambitions to strengthen its presence in the market.

Isabella Traglio, Head of Design and Research and Development at Vhernier, also emphasised the significance of London as a forward-looking global centre. She noted that the new boutique represents an opportunity to deepen the maison's relationship with its UK clientele while presenting its jewellery within a setting that reflects its design philosophy.

The relocation from Burlington Arcade to Old Bond Street places Vhernier within one of London's most established luxury shopping destinations, home to leading international jewellery and fashion houses. The larger format allows the brand to offer a broader presentation of its collections alongside private client experiences.

The opening reflects the continued importance of flagship retail spaces in the luxury jewellery sector, where architectural identity, product presentation and personalised services contribute to brand positioning. By bringing its sculptural jewellery designs into a setting inspired by Italian architecture, Vhernier is reinforcing the connection between its creative heritage and contemporary retail experience.

The Old Bond Street flagship marks another step in Vhernier's international retail development, strengthening its presence in London while offering customers a more comprehensive environment to explore the maison's collections and design identity.
