Taiwan: The international jewellery trade is preparing for the 9th Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair, scheduled to take place from 20 to 23 November 2026 at the Taipei World Trade Center. Organised by the Taiwan branch of Informa Markets Asia, the event is entering its final three-month countdown and is set to bring together global suppliers, buyers, designers and artisans under one roof.
Over four days, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors, including commercial buyers, jewellery brands, workshop managers, independent designers and industry professionals. The fair will serve as a platform for sourcing, business networking and international trade, further strengthening Taiwan’s position within the regional gemstone and jewellery market.
This year’s exhibition will cover a broad cross-section of the industry, with exhibitors showcasing loose diamonds, coloured gemstones, cultured pearls, gold jewellery and finished collections, alongside suppliers of metalworking equipment, tools and manufacturing technology.
A key highlight of the 2026 edition will be the debut of Born by Nature: GemVerse, a dedicated showcase tracing the journey of natural gemstones from rough material through cutting, polishing and final setting. The fair will also feature contemporary designer collections focused on modern craftsmanship, alongside curated antique jewellery reflecting historic styles and period design.
By bringing together raw-material suppliers, machinery companies, design studios, manufacturers and retailers, the event aims to connect multiple stages of the jewellery value chain. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their collections directly to trade buyers, while sourcing professionals can explore new suppliers and commercial partnerships.
Collectors and jewellery enthusiasts will also gain access to rare vintage pieces, high-grade gemstones and opportunities to interact directly with experienced jewellers and specialists.
With demand for certified gemstones, bespoke jewellery and specialised craftsmanship continuing to grow across Asia, the Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair is positioning itself as a strategic platform for brands seeking to expand their presence in the region.
Informa Markets is currently inviting trade buyers, retail chains, gemstone importers and jewellery studios to plan their participation in Taipei this November.
