Sreeleela Inaugurates Kalyan Jewellers’ First Showroom in Rayagada

Kalyan Jewellers has strengthened its retail presence in Odisha with the opening of its first showroom in Rayagada, inaugurated by South Indian actress Sreeleela

Odisha: Kalyan Jewellers has expanded its footprint in Odisha with the launch of its first showroom in Rayagada, bringing the national jewellery retailer’s portfolio of gold, diamond, precious stone and occasion-led jewellery to customers in the region. Popular South Indian actress Sreeleela inaugurated the new outlet on 8th September 2026.

Located on J K Road in R.K. Nagar, Rayagada, the showroom spans the ground and first floors and has been positioned as a comprehensive jewellery destination for customers from Rayagada and surrounding markets. Kalyan’s official store listing confirms the new outlet at R.K. Nagar.

The opening also included the launch of Candere, Kalyan Jewellers’ lifestyle jewellery brand. The contemporary label targets younger consumers through lightweight and modern jewellery formats while complementing Kalyan’s broader traditional, bridal and occasion-focused portfolio.

Adding significant visibility to the launch was Sreeleela, whose growing profile across Telugu, Kannada and Tamil cinema gives the regional opening considerable consumer appeal. The actress has emerged as a prominent young face in South Indian entertainment, appearing in films such as Dhamaka, Bhagavanth Kesari and Guntur Kaaram, and gaining wider recognition through her appearance in Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sreeleela highlighted the brand’s emphasis on trust, transparency, quality and craftsmanship, while welcoming Kalyan Jewellers’ arrival in Rayagada.

The showroom houses several of Kalyan Jewellers’ established collections, including Muhurat wedding jewellery, Mudhra antique jewellery, Nimah temple jewellery, Glo dancing diamonds, Anokhi uncut diamonds, Hera daily-wear diamonds and Lila, its coloured-stone and diamond jewellery line. All jewellery retailed by the company is BIS hallmarked, with customers also receiving its four-level assurance covering purity, product information, lifetime maintenance and exchange and buy-back policies.

The Rayagada opening reflects the continuing push by large organised jewellery retailers into regional and non-metro markets, where branded players are increasingly combining local-market accessibility with larger product assortments, certification and organised retail experiences.
