Patna: Ratnalaya Jewellers organised a community blood donation drive at its Kankarbagh showroom on 30 August, bringing together employees, local business owners and customers in support of regional blood banks.
The three-hour initiative formed part of the jeweller’s wider community outreach through the Ratnalaya Charitable Trust, which has previously conducted similar drives across locations including Danapur and Hathwa Market.
Beyond healthcare initiatives, the trust also supports local literacy and food-relief programmes, including the distribution of books and meals to children in underserved communities.
Commenting on the initiative, Saket Keshri, Director, Ratnalaya Jewellers, said the strongest part of such drives is seeing employees and customers come together for a shared cause. He noted that the effort goes beyond corporate responsibility when it becomes a community-led movement with the potential to create a direct social impact.
Ratnalaya Jewellers traces its roots to 1960, when the business was founded in Patna by Late Jamuna Prasad Keshri. Over the decades, the company has expanded under Managing Director Nagendra Keshri and third-generation leadership, including Saket Keshri.
The jeweller is known for categories spanning solitaire jewellery, Kundan bridal designs and hallmarked gold jewellery, while continuing to strengthen its retail and digital presence across the region.
Through initiatives such as the Kankarbagh blood donation drive, Ratnalaya Jewellers is reinforcing a brand philosophy centred on community participation, social responsibility and long-term local engagement.
