Ranka Jewellers and Chitale Bandhu Team Up for Ganesh Chaturthi

This Ganesh Chaturthi, two of Pune’s recognized family institutions, Ranka Jewellers and Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, have joined forces to blend sweet treats with fine craftsmanship. The event will run from 5 September to 25 September 2026; shoppers across the city can enjoy exclusive cross-promotional discounts on gold, silver, and traditional festive modaks

Pune: Ranka Jewellers and Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale have launched a festive cross-promotional campaign running from 5 to 25 September 2026, bringing together two familiar Ganesh festival traditions in Maharashtra: jewellery buying and festive sweets.

Under the campaign, customers collecting vouchers from participating Chitale Bandhu outlets can avail 30 per cent off making charges on gold, silver, diamond and platinum jewellery at Ranka Jewellers stores. In return, customers purchasing silver articles from Ranka Jewellers will receive Chitale Bandhu coupons offering 10 per cent off Suvarna Varkha and Rajat Varkha modaks, along with 5 per cent off Jumbo modaks.

Ranka Jewellers has also introduced a festive assortment designed around both devotional use and personal wear. The range includes pure silver crowns, modak garlands, hibiscus necklaces, tridents, leaf plates, co-branded silver coins and bars, along with traditional Maharashtrian jewellery such as 22KT Ganesha pendants, Chandrakor naths and 18KT gemstone necklaces.

The collaboration brings together two long-established Pune brands with deep regional roots. Ranka Jewellers traces its history to 1879, while Chitale Bandhu began as a dairy business in 1939 before expanding into one of Maharashtra’s best-known sweets brands.

For both companies, the campaign uses cross-category retailing to create a more integrated festive shopping experience, linking jewellery, gifting and food traditions within a single promotional window.
