Uttar Pradesh: PNG Jewellers has expanded its retail presence with the inauguration of its 81st store in India and fifth in Uttar Pradesh, marking the jewellery brand’s entry into Ayodhya. The new showroom was inaugurated in the presence of actor and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, alongside the company’s leadership team and board of directors.
The inauguration also marked a significant milestone for the company, reviving a connection with Ranaut dating back to 2014, when she inaugurated PNG Jewellers’ Ahilyanagar store.
Coinciding with the opening, Ranaut unveiled the brand’s Ram Katha jewellery collection, inspired by the Ramayana and Ayodhya’s cultural and spiritual heritage. The event also showcased PNG Jewellers’ latest festive television campaign featuring brand ambassadors Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Ranbir Kapoor.
The ceremony was attended by Saurabh Gadgil, Chairman and Managing Director of PNG Jewellers, along with members of the company’s board, including independent directors. Ved Prakash Gupta, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Ayodhya, was also present.
Sharing details of the inauguration on social media, Gadgil highlighted the enthusiastic response from local customers, who began visiting the showroom from the morning of its opening. He also acknowledged the significance of establishing the brand’s presence in a city closely associated with India’s cultural heritage.
During the event, Gadgil presented Ranaut with a copy of his book, Choosing Gold, and discussed its themes with her.
The company’s leadership and team members also visited the Ram Mandir and Hanuman Garhi to seek blessings during their visit to Ayodhya.
Reflecting on the expansion, Gadgil emphasised that opening a new store represents only the beginning of a brand’s relationship with a market, with the greater responsibility lying in earning the trust of first-time customers.
The Ayodhya launch further strengthens PNG Jewellers’ footprint in Uttar Pradesh as the company continues expanding its retail network across India.
