Journey Into Jewellery

Nishvee’s path in jewellery design grew out of a strong interest in how light hits cut stones and how natural shapes can be turned into fine metalwork. To turn that interest into a career, she enrolled in the Graduate Course in Jewellery Design at the International Institute of Gemology (IIG).

During her time at IIG, Nishvee built a personal design style that moves easily between store-ready diamond work and creative concept sketching. The practical training at IIG gave her a sharp eye for stone layouts, gemstone color balance, and piece construction.

Nishvee believes that store-ready diamond jewellery can be both practical and artistically fresh. Her approach focuses on taking classic diamond settings and giving them a gentle rhythm through mixed stone cuts, subtle color accents, and organic shapes that sit comfortably on the wearer.

Learning Through Industry Experience

Nishvee’s professional growth is supported by her daily design work at Fionaa Diamonds, where she focuses on diamond-led fine jewellery lines.

Working in a commercial setting lets her see how drawings turn into real store products. Her daily work involves arranging fancy diamond cuts, balancing weights, and making sure that complex floral or geometric layouts remain cost-effective and store-ready.

Design Project / Works

Nishvee’s main featured set, Midnight Bloom, shows her skill in combining diamond cuts with deep color accents.

Inspired by flowers and leaves seen under night light, the collection uses clusters of pear, marquise, and emerald-cut diamonds arranged like trailing vines along the neckline. Deep blue gemstones sit at the center of each cluster, creating a quiet contrast against the surrounding white diamonds. Created alongside her studies at the International Institute of Gemology (IIG), the set includes matching earrings and a ring to complete the look.

Key details of the Midnight Bloom collection include:

  • Graduated Layout: Smaller floral clusters along the sides leading down to a larger center drop.

  • Mixed Diamond Cuts: Using pear, marquise, and emerald cuts to add natural texture and light movement.

  • Restrained Palette: Pairing bright diamonds with deep blue center stones for a classic look.

Beyond her featured set, Nishvee's wider work includes a Polki-inspired emerald collar, a nature-led oak leaf and butterfly necklace with an opal center, a spiraling shell-inspired collar in violet tones, and an imaginative fan-and-orchid hair accessory with pearl drops.
