Bengaluru: Navkar Sterling Silver officially inaugurated its grand 3,000-square-foot premium showroom and corporate space on Saturday, 18th July 2026, at Vimal Square along Nagarathpet Main Road, bringing the company’s administrative teams and regional distribution network together under one roof in the centre of South India’s biggest jewellery district.
The opening was led by Owner and Director Abhay Ranka alongside his family. It brought out major trade groups, including the Jewellers Association Bengaluru, the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council, and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council. Several well-known figures from across the industry came to cut the ribbon and light the ceremonial lamp, including Brahmananda Meher of Arundhati Jewellers, Moti Chandra Agarwal of Chetmani Ornaments, GJC Vice Chairman Avinash Gupta, GJEPC Southern Chairman Mahender Kumar Tayal, Shree Sai Gold Palace head T.A. Sharavana, and JAB President Chetan Kumar Mehta.
This new facility marks the next chapter in a growth plan that began two years ago. In February 2024, the company set up a 4,000-square-foot production plant in Bengaluru called "The Art of Silver." By bringing in craftsmen trained in specialised Southeast Asian techniques, the factory was built to make high-end concept pieces locally, helping reduce the domestic market's heavy reliance on imported silver goods. The newly opened showroom gives retail partners direct access to those factory lines, speeding up quality checks, order handling, and bulk shipments across the country.
The showroom showcased a range of 92.5 sterling silver collections designed to offer luxury styling at accessible prices. A central highlight of the launch was the physical debut of Solvira Jewels, a fresh line tailored for everyday office wear and younger buyers. This collection relies heavily on minimalist designs, featuring lab-grown stones, moissanite settings that mirror fine diamonds, and smooth silver neckpieces crafted with natural mother-of-pearl backings.
Alongside the modern line, the showroom floor features deep-etched Thai and Bali-inspired antique oxidised jewellery, as well as a selection of detailed silver miniatures made for collectors, including small-scale models of cars, animals, and luxury items. To serve traditional buyers, the inventory also includes classic South Indian motifs such as the two-headed bird, the lion, and divine figures, alongside a lightweight series of men’s silver brooches and over two hundred everyday wholesale items like studs, rings, and kadas.
Speaking at the opening, Ranka explained that the company’s focus is on making international-style silver pieces right here in India while helping buyers manage high metal prices. By focusing on lightweight, rhodium-plated silver that holds up well to daily wear, the brand aims to give local retailers reliable, fast-selling inventory that fits modern shopping habits without pushing costs out of reach.
