Vapi: Maniratna Jewellers has opened a new boutique in Vapi, introducing a retail concept dedicated exclusively to the Mangalsutra. The launch marks a new milestone for the South Gujarat jeweller, combining traditional symbolism with contemporary design and a more focused shopping experience.
Building on a 23-year presence in the region, the brand has positioned the boutique around personalisation and category depth. Rather than presenting Mangalsutras as one section within a larger jewellery store, the new format gives the category an entire retail environment of its own.
The assortment ranges from lightweight gold and diamond Mangalsutras for everyday wear to heavier traditional and bridal designs intended for wedding trousseaus and heirloom use. The collection also features contemporary pendant forms, including infinity-inspired motifs, crown drops and floral patterns.
Convertible designs form another key part of the offering, allowing selected pieces to transition between festive and everyday styling. Customers can also opt for made-to-order services, including the redesign of existing family gold into new Mangalsutra formats using hallmarked gold and certified diamonds.
The boutique is also positioning transparency and value as part of its retail proposition, with competitive making charges and clear metal-pricing communication across BIS-hallmarked gold and certified diamond jewellery.
The launch event drew fashion and lifestyle creators including Tanya Mittal and Riya Bhatt, along with actor Shalini Singh, who showcased the boutique and its custom-design process to their audiences.
With the Vapi opening, Maniratna Jewellers is creating a specialised retail destination around one of Indian jewellery’s most culturally significant categories, while adapting the Mangalsutra to contemporary lifestyles through lighter construction, convertibility and customisation.
