The reopening was marked by the presence of actor Srinidhi Shetty, Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagendar, and senior Malabar Gold & Diamonds executives, including India Operations Managing Director Asher O and Retail Operations Head Siraj P K.
Among the highlights of the launch was Nayraa, the brand’s latest gemstone collection. Shetty drew attention to the line’s nature-inspired motifs and intricate Chillai metalwork, which bring traditional Indian craftsmanship into a distinctly contemporary design language.
Spread across two floors of the Oyster Building on Raj Bhavan Road, the redesigned showroom has been curated into dedicated jewellery zones, allowing customers to explore collections by style, occasion and craftsmanship.
The portfolio includes Mine, featuring diamond jewellery ranging from everyday elegance to elaborate bridal pieces; Viraaz, showcasing Polki and heritage-inspired designs; and Era, centred around uncut diamond jewellery. The showroom also presents vibrant gemstone creations from Precia, temple and antique-inspired jewellery through Ethnix and Divine, contemporary everyday gold designs under Zoul, and the child-friendly Starlet collection.
To commemorate the reopening, the Somajiguda showroom is offering up to 25% off making charges on gemstone and uncut diamond jewellery until 14 September 2026.
The store also continues to offer Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ established customer assurances, including uniform gold pricing across India, full exchange value on 22-karat gold, certified hallmarking, competitive making charges and complimentary lifetime maintenance.
The upgraded Somajiguda flagship reflects the brand’s broader strategy of enhancing key urban retail destinations with larger formats, stronger collection depth and elevated customer experiences. By combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary presentation, the showroom positions itself as a comprehensive destination for Hyderabad’s evolving fine jewellery consumer.
