Ahmedabad: Malabar Gold & Diamonds has strengthened its retail presence in Gujarat with the opening of its third showroom in Ahmedabad, located in Maninagar. Inaugurated on 11 October 2026, the approximately 5,500-square-foot outlet expands the retailer’s reach in the city, offering a range of gold, diamond and silver jewellery ahead of the festive and wedding shopping season.
The showroom was inaugurated by Dinesh Makhwana, Member of Parliament, and actor Manasi Parekh, in the presence of senior company representatives and customers. The opening marks another step in Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ strategy to expand its physical retail network across key Indian markets.
Located in Maninagar, an established residential and commercial area in southern Ahmedabad, the new outlet caters to customers seeking traditional, bridal and contemporary jewellery. Its assortment includes elaborate wedding collections, lightweight everyday designs, 18-karat gold jewellery, certified diamond pieces and silver collections.
Designed in line with the brand’s retail standards, the showroom features organised jewellery displays, contemporary interiors and personalised customer services. The format aims to provide a convenient shopping experience while accommodating different purchasing preferences, from occasion-led jewellery to everyday pieces.
M. P. Ahammad, Chairman of Malabar Group, described Ahmedabad as an important market for the company. He said the Maninagar opening would allow the retailer to serve a broader customer base with jewellery suited to different tastes, occasions and budgets, while maintaining its established service standards.
To mark the launch, Malabar Gold & Diamonds has introduced promotional offers valid until 15 November 2026. These include flat 8 per cent making charges on plain gold jewellery, discounts of up to 30 per cent on making charges for antique gold, uncut and gemstone jewellery, and up to 30 per cent off diamond value on selected diamond jewellery collections.
The retailer has also highlighted its quality assurance and customer service commitments. Gold jewellery sold at the showroom carries BIS hallmarking with HUID, while diamond jewellery undergoes testing and certification. Under its Malabar Promises programme, the company offers exchange benefits, transparent pricing, lifetime maintenance and responsibly sourced products, subject to applicable terms.
Established in 1993, Malabar Gold & Diamonds operates an international retail network spanning India and overseas markets. The company continues to expand its presence through new showrooms while strengthening its offerings across traditional and contemporary jewellery categories.
The Maninagar opening reinforces Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ focus on Gujarat’s jewellery retail market, combining an expanded product assortment with festive promotions and customer services as the brand seeks to reach more consumers across Ahmedabad.
