Lucira Enters Bengaluru With Seventh Lab-Grown Diamond Jewellery Store in Malleshwaram

Lucira Jewelry opens its seventh retail outlet in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, introducing over 2,500 lab-grown diamond designs to Karnataka. The new experience center expands the brand’s footprint across India as part of its ongoing offline growth strategy

Bengaluru: Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Lucira has entered the Karnataka retail market with the opening of its seventh store on Sampige Road in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. Inaugurated on 11 October 2026, the new outlet marks the brand's first physical presence in the city, extending its offline retail network as it pursues expansion across major Indian markets.

The Bengaluru opening forms part of Lucira's strategy to strengthen its physical retail presence alongside its digital-first business model. By establishing a showroom in Malleshwaram, the brand aims to connect with customers seeking contemporary laboratory-grown diamond jewellery through personalised consultations and in-store product experiences.

The inauguration was hosted by Rupesh Jain and Vandana Jain, Co-founders of Lucira, bringing together customers, industry partners and design enthusiasts for a preview of the new retail space. Commenting on the expansion, Rupesh Jain highlighted Bengaluru's importance as a market for contemporary fine jewellery, noting that a physical presence would help the brand better understand local consumer preferences and develop long-term customer relationships.

Designed as an interactive jewellery experience centre, the Malleshwaram showroom features spacious display counters, glass-fronted interiors and private consultation areas. The store houses more than 2,500 certified laboratory-grown diamond jewellery designs, spanning lightweight everyday pieces, contemporary statement jewellery and bridal collections.

Among the featured collections is Eterna, which includes tennis bracelets and multi-stone bands. The showroom also showcases Lucira's proprietary Hexa Cut range, featuring a distinctive 56-facet diamond cut incorporated into geometric studs and drop earrings.

Other collections include On The Move and Portuguese, alongside signature designs such as the Double Arrow ring and Seraphina hoop earrings. Together, the assortment reflects the brand's emphasis on contemporary styling, design variety and jewellery suited to different occasions.

To support customer confidence, Lucira offers a 90 per cent buyback guarantee and a 100 per cent lifetime exchange policy on eligible purchases, subject to the company's applicable terms and conditions.

Founded by Rupesh Jain and Vandana Jain, Lucira began as a digital-first jewellery business focused on making laboratory-grown diamond jewellery more accessible through transparent purchasing practices and contemporary designs.

The company subsequently secured US$5.5 million in seed funding, led by Blume Ventures and Spring Marketing Capital, supporting its plans to develop a stronger omnichannel retail presence.

Lucira made its physical retail debut in late 2025 with an experience centre in Chembur, Mumbai, before expanding into additional markets, including Pune and Borivali. The Bengaluru opening takes its operational network to seven experience centres across India.

The company is now pursuing a wider retail expansion strategy, targeting more than 20 stores across major metropolitan markets, including Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai and Ahmedabad. Its growth model combines company-owned outlets with franchise partnerships, allowing the brand to expand its physical presence while reaching new customer segments.

Alongside its showroom expansion, Lucira has outlined an ambition to achieve ₹100 crore in annual revenue within three years, supported by retail growth, product development and increasing consumer awareness of laboratory-grown diamonds.

The Malleshwaram opening marks another step in Lucira's transition from a digital-first business to an omnichannel jewellery retailer, bringing its laboratory-grown diamond collections closer to customers through dedicated physical shopping experiences.
