Bhubaneswar: KISNA Diamond & Gold Jewellery has expanded its retail presence with the opening of its largest showroom in India, located on Janpath Road in Bhubaneswar. Developed with an investment of approximately ₹24 crore, the two-level, 4,056-square-foot flagship marks a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion strategy. The inauguration was attended by Bollywood actor Sonal Chauhan and Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director of Hari Krishna Group and KISNA.
The opening strengthens KISNA’s presence in Odisha, taking its showroom count in the state to nine and its nationwide network to 171 exclusive outlets. East India has emerged as the brand’s second-largest regional market, reflecting its growing importance to the company’s retail business.
KISNA is targeting 200 exclusive showrooms by the end of 2026, with expansion focused on metropolitan cities and emerging regional markets. The retailer continues to follow a Franchise-Owned, Franchise-Operated (FOFO) model, enabling it to expand its physical network through local franchise partnerships while maintaining consistent brand and service standards.
Commenting on the opening, Ghanshyam Dholakia said the launch of KISNA’s largest showroom in Bhubaneswar reflects the company’s confidence in Odisha’s jewellery market and the increasing demand for organised jewellery retail. He highlighted East India’s contribution to the brand’s growth and the role of franchise partnerships in making certified gold and diamond jewellery more accessible to customers.
The new showroom is operated by franchise partners Ramprasad Misra and Biswaranjan Mohapatra. Located at Plot No. 662(B), opposite the Regional PF Office on Janpath Road, the flagship brings together KISNA’s gold and diamond jewellery collections across traditional, bridal, festive and everyday-wear categories.
The assortment includes rings, earrings, pendants, mangalsutras, necklaces, bangles and bracelets, catering to customers seeking jewellery for weddings, gifting, personal milestones and regular wear. The larger retail format allows the brand to present a wider selection of designs within a single shopping destination.
To coincide with the festive and wedding shopping season, KISNA has introduced promotional benefits, including its Gold Rate Protection Plan. Under the scheme, customers can book jewellery with a 25 per cent advance payment and receive the lower applicable gold rate between the booking date and final billing date, subject to the plan’s terms and conditions.
The showroom also offers old gold exchange and buyback facilities, alongside participation in the brand’s nationwide festive lucky draw campaign featuring more than 800 cars and two-wheelers as prizes.
The Bhubaneswar flagship opening reflects KISNA’s strategy of combining larger retail formats with franchise-led expansion in high-potential markets. As the brand works towards its 200-showroom target, East India remains an important region for strengthening its retail network and reaching a wider customer base.
