San Ramon: Heller Jewelers and Olympic gold medallist Kristi Yamaguchi have expanded their collaborative ‘Always Dream’ jewellery collection with four new gold and diamond designs, supporting early childhood literacy initiatives through the Always Dream Foundation. Launched on 12 October 2026, the additions mark the 30th anniversaries of both Heller Jewelers and the foundation, bringing together fine jewellery craftsmanship and community-focused philanthropy.
First introduced in September 2024 with three necklaces, the collection has been extended to include huggie earrings, two signet rings and a multi-strand bracelet. Crafted in 14-karat yellow gold with diamond accents, the new designs feature the North Star emblem, a signature element of the Always Dream Foundation's identity, symbolising hope, guidance and opportunity.
The collection was developed through a collaboration between Kristi Yamaguchi and Scott Heller, Founder of Heller Jewelers, combining contemporary jewellery design with the foundation's commitment to improving children's access to reading resources.
Yamaguchi, who became the first Asian American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in women's singles figure skating at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, established the Always Dream Foundation to support children and families through educational initiatives. The collaboration with Heller Jewelers extends that mission into the fine jewellery category, connecting product purchases with charitable contributions.
The expanded collection features four designs priced between $1,370 and $3,525. The multi-strand bracelet, priced at $1,370, combines paperclip links with delicate double chains, joined by a diamond-set circular element carrying the North Star charm.
The huggie earrings, priced at $1,600, feature pavé-set diamonds and suspended North Star charms, bringing movement to the design. Two signet rings complete the new assortment, with an oval design priced at $2,370 and a round version at $3,525. Both incorporate polished gold surfaces and diamond detailing, offering contemporary interpretations of traditional signet jewellery.
According to the collaboration, all proceeds from the collection will support the Always Dream Foundation's Always Reading programme, which provides books, literacy resources and reading support to children and families in the San Francisco Bay Area and Hawaiʻi.
The programme focuses on strengthening early reading opportunities by improving access to educational materials and supporting families in developing reading habits during children's formative years.
The collection is available at Heller Jewelers' showroom in City Center Bishop Ranch, San Ramon, and through the retailer's official website. Supporters can also contribute directly to the Always Dream Foundation independently of jewellery purchases.
The initiative demonstrates how independent jewellery retailers can integrate charitable partnerships into their product development and customer engagement strategies. By linking a distinctive jewellery collection with an established educational programme, Heller Jewelers and Yamaguchi have created a collaboration that combines fine jewellery with a defined philanthropic purpose.
