Kalamandir Jewellers launched its new multi-level Signature Store in Bargarh, with Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi inaugurating the showroom as chief guest. The expansive facility showcases over 32, 000 hallmarked designs, bringing a comprehensive luxury retail experience to Western Odisha's growing market

Bargarh: Kalamandir Jewellers has strengthened its retail presence in Western Odisha with the opening of a new four-storey signature showroom in Bargarh on 25 October 2026. Featuring more than 32,000 jewellery designs, the large-format outlet brings together gold, diamond, Polki and silver collections, reflecting the retailer's strategy to expand its presence in regional markets through comprehensive jewellery shopping destinations.

The showroom was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi, alongside Amit Jenkins, Director of Kalamandir Jewellers, and members of the company's management team. The opening ceremony attracted local customers and guests, with the celebrations featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a showroom preview and cultural performances.

Located near Pantaloons at Bhatli Chowk, the new showroom spans four dedicated floors, offering an extensive selection of traditional and contemporary jewellery across different categories and price segments. The store's format has been developed to accommodate bridal collections, everyday jewellery, precious gemstones and silver articles within a single retail environment.

A central highlight is Aarambh, the retailer's bridal and festive gold jewellery collection, featuring elaborate chokers, layered haars, temple-inspired waist belts, traditional bangles and intricate gold craftsmanship. The assortment also includes Kundan and Jadau jewellery, catering to customers seeking heritage-inspired designs for weddings and significant family celebrations.

The diamond jewellery section presents lightweight necklaces, tennis bracelets, contemporary earrings and other designs suited to everyday wear and special occasions. Polki jewellery incorporating ruby and emerald accents forms another part of the offering, alongside gold chains, mangalsutras and contemporary jewellery collections.

A dedicated silver section features dining sets, serving bowls, traditional diyas, pooja thalis and decorative idols, extending the showroom's assortment beyond personal jewellery into gifting and ceremonial silverware.

The Bargarh opening reflects Kalamandir Jewellers' focus on strengthening its presence in Western Odisha, where regional commercial centres serve customers from surrounding districts. Bargarh's connectivity with Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Balangir and Sonepur, as well as neighbouring areas of Chhattisgarh, provides the retailer with access to a wider regional customer base.

The new flagship also expands the company's existing presence in Bargarh beyond its earlier location at Thana Chowk. By introducing a larger showroom with dedicated product sections, Kalamandir aims to provide customers with a broader selection of jewellery within their local market.

To coincide with the launch, the retailer introduced promotional offers, including a ₹4,000 discount on every 10 grams of eligible gold jewellery purchased, alongside making charges starting at 5 per cent on selected collections. The offers were introduced as part of the opening celebrations, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

The showroom forms part of Kalamandir Jewellers' broader retail development strategy, which includes expanding large-format stores in regional commercial centres while strengthening its presence in other jewellery markets.

Recent developments within the company's retail network include the introduction of a Platinum Experience Zone in Vadodara and expansion activities in Mehsana, alongside its established presence in major markets such as Mumbai.

Beyond conventional showroom retail, Kalamandir Jewellers has also developed a presence in airport shopping environments. Its reported network spans 14 airport locations, including Indore and outlets in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Surat, Udaipur, Patna, Varanasi, Madurai and Dehradun.

The retailer's expansion into transit locations reflects its efforts to reach travelling consumers through compact retail formats, complementing its larger showrooms in established and emerging jewellery markets.

Kalamandir has also been developing its platinum jewellery offering through industry collaborations, including its association with Platinum Guild International, broadening its product portfolio alongside traditional gold, diamond and silver categories.

The Bargarh flagship adds to this expansion strategy, bringing a larger jewellery assortment and specialised retail sections to Western Odisha while strengthening Kalamandir Jewellers' presence in the region.
