Kozhikode: Elma Aveiro, Director of the global CR7 brand and sister of football star Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to visit Kozhikode on 3 September 2026 to inaugurate the Sparkle Diamond Fest at the flagship Boby Chemmanur International Jewellers showroom.
She will join Dr. Boby Chemmanur, Chairman of the Boby Group, for the launch, which is expected to draw local dignitaries, civic representatives and sports personalities.
The appearance is likely to resonate strongly in Kerala’s Malabar region, where football enjoys an extensive following. The event also continues the brand’s association with high-profile sporting personalities; Boby Chemmanur previously hosted Argentine football legend Diego Maradona in Kerala in 2012.
The Sparkle Diamond Fest will showcase a broad jewellery assortment spanning uncut diamond and Polki sets, lightweight contemporary designs, antique-fusion gold jewellery and pieces set with rubies, emeralds and sapphires.
As part of the festival, the showroom has announced promotional offers including up to 50 per cent off making charges on diamond and uncut jewellery, along with HUID 916 gold at promotional rates. Customers booking gold in advance will also be eligible for selected making-charge benefits.
Shoppers purchasing more than ₹2 lakh worth of uncut diamond jewellery will receive a complimentary gold coin, while the festival will also feature daily prize draws with rewards including diamond rings, gold coins and holiday packages to Ooty and Thekkady.
Boby Chemmanur International Jewellers traces its roots to 1863, when the business began with a single store in Varantharappilly, Thrissur. It has since expanded to a network of more than 50 showrooms across India, the UAE and the US.
The wider Boby Group also has interests in financial services, real estate and hospitality, alongside community initiatives undertaken through the Life Vision Charitable Trust.
With the Kozhikode event, the brand is combining celebrity engagement, festive retail promotions and a strong regional connection to football culture to drive visibility around its diamond jewellery offering.
