Visakhapatnam: CMR Jewellery has opened a new showroom in Gajuwaka, marking its 15th store and eighth exclusive showroom. Inaugurated on 12 October, the outlet strengthens the brand’s retail presence in Visakhapatnam. Actress Bhagyashri Borse attended the launch celebrations.
To mark the opening, the retailer announced a promotional flat 5.99 per cent value addition (VA) charge on all 22-karat gold jewellery during the launch period.
Located in Gajuwaka’s commercial district, the showroom caters to residents and shoppers from surrounding areas. Its assortment includes traditional gold jewellery for weddings and festive occasions, alongside contemporary, lightweight designs for everyday wear.
According to the brand, the expansion builds on its longstanding relationships with local customers and aims to provide a more accessible shopping destination for families. The product mix reflects its focus on serving established ceremonial preferences while responding to growing interest in versatile jewellery that can be worn beyond special occasions.
Alongside its core gold and diamond collections, the group is broadening its offering through sub-brands such as Padmam, which features 925 sterling silver and gold-plated jewellery. The range caters to customers seeking contemporary designs at more accessible price points.
The Gajuwaka opening forms part of CMR Jewellery’s wider retail expansion, combining a neighbourhood presence with an assortment spanning bridal, festive and everyday jewellery.
