Mumbai: CaratLane marked the Teej festive period with a campaign featuring television actors Pranali Rathod and Aashay Mishra, placing thoughtful jewellery gifting at the centre of the celebration.
The campaign followed a couple through a simple surprise-gifting moment, with Aashay Mishra presenting Pranali Rathod with a CaratLane jewellery gift. Their on-screen chemistry was used to reflect Teej gifting as an expression of affection, care and shared celebration.
By building the narrative around an everyday relationship, CaratLane gave the traditional festival a contemporary treatment, positioning jewellery as a meaningful way to mark the occasion rather than presenting gifting purely through a ceremonial lens.
Commenting on the campaign, Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director, CaratLane – A Tata Product, said Teej holds an important place in the festive calendar and that gifting remains central to the way the occasion is celebrated. He added that the campaign was designed to capture the everyday joy of Teej gifting in a manner that felt contemporary and relatable.
The campaign formed part of CaratLane’s wider festive communication strategy, which has focused on linking key cultural occasions with modern consumer behaviour and relationship-led storytelling.
The film featuring Pranali Rathod and Aashay Mishra was amplified across CaratLane’s digital platforms and targeted channels during the Teej period, extending the campaign’s reach among younger, digitally engaged audiences.
With the initiative, CaratLane reinforced its positioning around occasion-led jewellery gifting, using familiar relationship dynamics to make traditional festive communication feel more current and accessible.
