Dubai: Jaipur-based luxury jewellery house Amrapali Jewels has expanded its international retail presence with the opening of a standalone boutique at B1 Mall in Dubai. The launch marks the brand’s entry into the UAE market, bringing its heritage-inspired jewellery collections and traditional Indian craftsmanship to customers in the Middle East.
The opening event was hosted and curated by lifestyle influencer Jannat Miranda, bringing together fashion industry representatives, media personalities and invited guests. The occasion highlighted Amrapali’s distinctive approach to jewellery design, combining traditional Indian techniques with contemporary luxury aesthetics.
Located within B1 Mall, the boutique has been conceived as an intimate retail destination, offering customers a personalised environment to explore the brand’s jewellery collections. The location reflects Amrapali’s focus on creating a more individualised shopping experience for local customers, collectors and international visitors seeking heritage-inspired fine jewellery.
The showroom presents an assortment of jewellery incorporating traditional Indian craftsmanship, including Polki, Kundan and Meenakari techniques. Its collections feature chokers, chandbalis, cocktail rings and cuffs, alongside Navratna designs and creations incorporating precious gemstones such as emeralds, rubies, sapphires and pearls.
The boutique also showcases designs from the brand’s wider portfolio, including the Baahubali collection from Tribe Amrapali. The assortment brings together elaborate statement jewellery and contemporary pieces, reflecting the house’s approach to reinterpreting traditional Indian design influences for international customers.
Rather than centring the inauguration on promotional discounts, Amrapali incorporated live craftsmanship and cultural performances into the launch experience. Visitors were introduced to traditional Meenakari enamelling through artisan demonstrations, while classical flute performances complemented the presentation of the brand’s jewellery heritage.
The emphasis on craftsmanship reflects Amrapali’s longstanding association with Indian jewellery-making traditions, particularly the techniques and artistic influences associated with Rajasthan. By presenting these processes within the boutique launch, the brand highlighted the artisanal expertise behind its collections.
Commenting on the opening, Tarang Arora, CEO and Creative Director of Amrapali Jewels, described Dubai as an important destination for introducing the house’s craftsmanship to a wider international audience. He highlighted the cultural connection between India and the Middle East, positioning the boutique as an extension of the brand’s Jaipur heritage into a global luxury market.
The Dubai opening forms part of Amrapali’s wider international retail development strategy. The company is exploring opportunities to strengthen its presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets through private trunk shows, pop-up showcases and personalised appointments in destinations including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait.
Beyond the Middle East, Amrapali continues to develop its international presence in luxury markets such as London and New York. The company is also expanding the reach of Tribe Amrapali, its contemporary jewellery label, through retail locations and travel-oriented shopping destinations.
The new Dubai boutique strengthens Amrapali’s international retail network while providing a dedicated platform for its heritage jewellery collections, artisanal craftsmanship and personalised luxury shopping experience.
