Aditi wore a Cherry Blossom Red net lehenga-saree by designer Mrunalini Rao. Covered in raised floral stitching, the solid red color forms a bold background that makes the gold jewellery from Indriya Jewellers stand out. Every small choice on set was made to keep eyes on Aditi's face and the detailed gold work around her neck. The hairstylist left her hair down in a full, soft blowout. Gentle waves rest over her shoulders, while a simple middle part keeps the heavy, detailed necklace from looking too boxed-in. Her makeup stays clean and simple. Instead of thick layers of foundation, she went with a fresh, glowy base, soft bronzer on the cheeks, nude lipstick, and a light sweep of brown eyeshadow.
Brand Spotlight
The jewellery featured on the cover comes from Indriya, a fine jewellery venture launched by the Aditya Birla Group under Novel Jewels. Backed by a ₹5,000 crore investment, the brand set out with a clear target: to redefine how modern Indians shop for high-craft gold and diamonds and quickly land among the country’s top three organized jewellery retailers.
What makes the brand interesting is how they mix hand-crafted work with modern store technology. They carry over 20,000 items made by thousands of local craftsmen across the country.
Inside their multi-floor stores, they use a tool called the SparkleScope to show customers how diamonds catch and bend light. They also built private Outfit Rooms, where brides can bring their actual wedding outfits into the store to see how different necklaces match their exact clothing colors before buying anything.
Jewellery Decode
Aditi’s neckwear is a masterclass in layering substantial gold without allowing the look to feel heavy or overworked. Each piece follows the natural line of the body, while contrasting textures and carefully distributed volume create definition against the deep red fabric.
At the base of the throat sits a broad antique-gold choker, built from structured panels detailed with Rawa-style beading and openwork filigree. A fine fringe of micro-pearls softens the density of the metal, creating a delicate transition where the choker meets the collarbone.
Layered beneath it is the focal piece of the composition — a long, architectural gold haar drawing from traditional temple aesthetics and lotus-inspired geometry. Concentric, stepped links create a cascading rhythm, while carved relief panels, scalloped edges and suspended drops add movement and dimensionality.
On the hand, Aditi wears a dramatic old-world cocktail ring. Its intricate open gold framework surrounds a dark, faceted central gemstone, introducing a striking contrast to the warmth of the 22-karat gold and grounding the otherwise monochromatic palette with a regal edge.
The styling is deliberately restrained, allowing the jewellery to remain the visual focus. By balancing heavy gold with softer details, negative space and clean beauty, the look feels opulent without becoming crowded — a refined interpretation of traditional grandeur for a contemporary frame.
