Chennai: Tanishq has expanded its retail footprint in Tamil Nadu with the opening of a new store in West Tambaram, Chennai, further strengthening its presence in one of India’s important jewellery consumption markets. The launch marks the brand’s 66th store in Tamil Nadu and its 24th outlet in Chennai.
Part of Titan Company’s jewellery division, Tanishq continues to deepen its retail network across South India, where demand for gold, diamonds, solitaires and region-specific jewellery remains closely linked to weddings, festive occasions, investment sentiment and everyday wear.
The new showroom was inaugurated by Arun Narayan, CEO, Jewellery Division, Titan Company, along with Narasimhan Y L, Circle Business Head, Jewellery, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, in the presence of company officials and customers.
Located at 257, GST Road, West Tambaram, Chennai, the outlet spans approximately 8,000 sq ft and has been designed to offer a modern and immersive jewellery shopping experience. The store combines spacious interiors, contemporary design elements and a premium retail environment in line with Tanishq’s customer-centric approach.
The showroom houses a wide range of jewellery collections, including plain gold ornaments, diamond jewellery, solitaires, polki collections and everyday wear designs. Customers can also explore specialised collections such as Anique jewellery and South Indian Glass Kundan designs. The store also showcases Tanishq’s latest natural gemstones collection, ‘Hues’, catering to customers looking for both traditional and contemporary jewellery choices.
A key feature of the new store is the Tanishq Diamond Expertise Centre, a technology-enabled initiative aimed at helping customers assess diamond authenticity and quality. The centre is equipped with five advanced tools that evaluate important diamond characteristics such as light performance, origin, inclusions and laser inscriptions.
To mark the store opening, Tanishq had announced a limited-period inaugural offer under which customers could receive a complimentary gold coin on eligible purchases made between 1 May and 3 May 2026.
