Siddharth Sawansukha, the Managing Director of House of Sawansukha, shared an interesting side of the jewellery-making process.
In an Instagram post, the MD emphasised the rhythm generated during jewellery making. He said music is everywhere, and there is music within the jewellery-making process as well. He stressed that people often believe music can only be played through strings and instruments, but he firmly believes that it is played daily in an artisan’s ear.
Underlying his belief, he said, “It exists in the rhythm of creation, in the measured tap of tools, the soft hum of the workshop, and the precision of every movement. In the process of making jewellery, I hear a different kind of melody… one that doesn’t play out loud, but stays with you.”
