Only Natural Diamonds has unveiled its latest digital campaign, His Diamond Story, featuring actor and former state-level cricketer Saqib Saleem. Showcasing natural diamond jewellery by Popley & Sons Jewellers, the campaign positions natural diamonds as symbols of resilience, authenticity and modern masculine style.

India: The Natural Diamond Council (NDC), through its consumer platform Only Natural Diamonds, has launched a new digital campaign titled His Diamond Story, featuring actor and producer Saqib Saleem.


The campaign explores Saleem’s journey from competitive cricket to the entertainment industry, using his personal story to highlight qualities often associated with natural diamonds—resilience, perseverance, authenticity and strength built over time.


Within the larger His Diamond Story initiative, Saleem’s chapter is presented under the theme “Built Under Pressure.” The campaign draws a parallel between the billions of years required to form a natural diamond and the patience, discipline and determination needed to build a successful career.


Before entering films, Saqib Saleem played state-level cricket for Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir. He later portrayed legendary Indian cricketer Mohinder Amarnath in 83 and currently captains the Mumbai Heroes team in the Celebrity Cricket League.


For the campaign, Saleem is styled in natural diamond jewellery created by Popley & Sons Jewellers, presenting men's diamond jewellery through a refined and contemporary lens. Rather than positioning diamonds solely as occasion wear, the campaign highlights their growing role in everyday men's luxury wardrobes.


The creative direction and styling were led by Dev Sood, with photography by Nishanth Radhakrishnan, cinematography by Amon and grooming by Darshan Yewalekar.


According to the Natural Diamond Council, the campaign frames discipline, patience, resilience and recovery as qualities shared by sport, cinema and natural diamonds.


Beyond fashion, the campaign also introduces a personal chapter from Saleem’s life. In the accompanying film, he recalls watching his mother sketch jewellery designs during his childhood. After years of hard work and professional struggles, he fulfilled a personal dream by gifting her a pair of natural diamond earrings—an emotional milestone that adds authenticity to the campaign narrative.


The latest initiative reflects Only Natural Diamonds’ broader communication strategy of moving beyond product-focused advertising towards personality-led storytelling. By highlighting real-life journeys and emotional milestones, the platform aims to connect natural diamonds with younger consumers seeking meaning and individuality in their jewellery choices.
