Italy’s participation highlights its growing strength in the UAE luxury jewellery market. Italian jewellery exports to the UAE reached €1.3 billion in 2025 (approximately ₹14,349 crore), marking a 12.6% year-on-year increase. In the first two months of 2026, exports stood at €194 million (approximately ₹2,141 crore), with Italy’s market share rising to 8% from 5.48% a year earlier.
The pavilion will showcase Italy’s strong jewellery craftsmanship, including high-end gold jewellery, diamond-set pieces, artisan silverwork and contemporary luxury designs. The participation also reflects continued demand in the region for Made-in-Italy jewellery, known for design, heritage, craftsmanship and authenticity.
Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, said Italian jewellery naturally reflects the shared appreciation for beauty and elegance between Italy and the UAE. Valerio Soldani, Trade Commissioner of Italy to the UAE, noted that Italy’s rising market share underlines the resilience and global prestige of Italian manufacturing.
The Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show remains a key regional platform for manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and jewellery professionals, offering Italian exhibitors direct access to a strong and sophisticated buyer base in the Middle East.
