Pune: Divine Solitaires and Ranka Jewellers have announced an ambitious strategy to capture over 30% market share of Pune’s solitaire diamond jewellery segment over the next two to three years.
The plan was announced after a recent Pune meet between the two brands and reflects their 20-year association, built on shared business values, trust and a long-term commitment to the natural diamond solitaire category.
The meeting brought together key members from both organisations. Representing Ranka Jewellers were Tejpal Ranka, Vastupal Ranka, Anil Ranka, Shlok Ranka, Vivaan Ranka and Rushabh Ranka. From Divine Solitaires, the leadership team included Jignesh Mehta, MD & Founder, Hari Garg, National Business Head, Ronak Shah and Vishal Jain.
The collaboration is expected to combine the individual strengths of both brands. Divine Solitaires brings its solitaire-focused jewellery portfolio, transparent pricing model and 123 quality parameters, while Ranka Jewellers adds its strong legacy, retail credibility and deep customer connect in Pune’s jewellery market.
Together, the two companies aim to strengthen consumer confidence in natural diamond solitaires and expand their presence in a market where demand for certified, transparent and investment-worthy diamond jewellery continues to grow.
Commenting on the association, Jignesh Mehta, MD & Founder, Divine Solitaires, said the 20-year relationship with Ranka Jewellers reflects the shared ambition of both brands.
We believe Pune is a significant market for natural diamonds. Our association with Ranka Jewellers gives us the confidence to pursue this goal with a long-term vision, not as a short-term initiative, he said.
Tejpal Ranka of Ranka Jewellers said the partnership with Divine Solitaires has helped the brand create a distinct position in the market.
Our association with Divine has made us stand apart, with customers returning to us specifically for Divine Solitaires. The partnership has also delivered stronger ROI, healthier stock-to-turn ratios compared to industry benchmarks, and minimal dead inventory risk, he said.
With this renewed strategy, Divine Solitaires and Ranka Jewellers are looking to deepen their hold in Pune’s solitaire jewellery segment while offering consumers greater transparency, consistency and trust in natural diamond purchases.
