Mumbai: Silver Emporium will bring over four decades of silver craftsmanship to the Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex, during this year’s Bridal Asia Mumbai exhibition. Scheduled on 15 and 16 August, the two-day event will bring together leading fashion designers and jewellery brands under one roof, making it a key destination for brides-to-be, families and customers seeking fine festive jewellery and luxury gifting options.

The brand’s journey began in 1981, when Kantilal Mehta founded Silver Emporium in Mumbai with the vision of building trust and ensuring purity in silver craftsmanship. Over the past 45 years, the business has evolved from a local silver enterprise into one of India’s prominent corporate silver manufacturing and retail houses.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Rahul Mehta, the group entered a new phase of growth in 2009 with the establishment of a fully integrated manufacturing facility in Jaipur. The expansion enabled the brand to scale production while continuing to support generations of Indian artisans, including skilled craft families with a long history of creating traditional silver masterpieces.

The brand’s commitment to craftsmanship has also earned international recognition. Silver Emporium became the only silverware company featured in the official Rolls-Royce coffee table book commemorating the automobile company’s 110th anniversary. The recognition was supported by innovative creations such as the development of the world’s first full-scale silver motorcycle.

Beyond traditional silverware, the group has continued expanding into design-focused luxury segments through brands such as Tarava, which specialises in fine jewellery and bridal heirlooms, along with dedicated gold and diamond collections.

At Bridal Asia Mumbai, Silver Emporium will showcase a curated selection of handcrafted 925 sterling silver creations. The brand’s focus remains on bringing greater structure and transparency to the silver jewellery market by educating consumers about hallmarking standards, authentic silver terminology and traditional Indian craftsmanship techniques such as Nakashi hand embossing.

The collection highlights intricate metalwork and timeless craftsmanship, with designs created to become long-term family keepsakes rather than short-lived fashion trends.

Visitors to the stall can explore a diverse range of functional and decorative creations. The wedding collection includes hand-embossed silver clutches, rigid metallic minaudières and statement jewellery pieces such as heavy chokers and layered necklaces enhanced with semi-precious stones.

Beyond wearable jewellery, the showcase will also feature custom silver collectibles, carved perfume bottles, decorative pieces for prayer spaces and luxury home accents designed for the upcoming festive season.
