PNGS Extends Retail Network to Amanora Mall, Pune

Pune: P. N. Gadgil & Sons (PNGS) has expanded its retail network in Pune with the opening of a new showroom at Amanora Mall in Hadapsar, strengthening the heritage jewellery brand’s presence in one of the city’s fastest-growing residential and commercial corridors.

The showroom was inaugurated on 7th July 2026 in the presence of customers, well-wishers and members of the PNGS family. The opening represents a strategic step in bringing the brand closer to customers across Hadapsar and the wider East Pune region.

For PNGS, the new store also reinforces its long-standing association with Pune. The jewellery house, which has built its identity around transparency, product authenticity and generational customer relationships, is seeking to extend the same values to a rapidly expanding part of the city.

Speaking at the launch, Aditya Modak, CEO and COO of P. N. Gadgil & Sons, said the expectations of Pune’s customers continue to play an important role in shaping the company’s retail approach.

“Pune is home, and every showroom we open here is watched closely by customers who have known this brand for three and four generations. That is a good discipline to have,” Modak said.

He added that the Amanora showroom does not represent a departure from the company’s established retail philosophy, but rather an extension of the commitments that have guided the brand for nearly two centuries.

“What we have carried into Amanora is not a new format but an old promise—that what you are told about a piece of jewellery is exactly what you are buying, at a price where you can see the working of. In 194 years, the designs have changed with every generation. The value system has not. We are glad to bring it to a part of Pune that has been asking us for it,” he said.

Hadapsar and the surrounding East Pune corridor have developed into significant residential, technology and retail catchments over the past decade. The locality now serves a large base of professionals, families and new-generation consumers, supported by expanding residential developments and organised shopping destinations.

By opening at Amanora Mall, PNGS will be able to serve customers in Hadapsar and nearby areas without requiring them to travel to other parts of Pune. The mall location is also expected to provide the brand with stronger access to both destination shoppers and customers visiting the area for leisure and everyday retail requirements.

The expansion reflects a broader shift among established jewellery houses towards increasing accessibility while preserving the trust and service standards associated with traditional jewellery buying.

For PNGS, the Amanora opening brings its heritage-led retail proposition to a newer consumer catchment while maintaining its emphasis on transparency, craftsmanship and long-term customer relationships.
