Kochi: Vinsmera Jewels has officially inaugurated its newest and largest flagship showroom in Kochi on 15 August 2026. The showroom was inaugurated by legendary actor Mohanlal, marking a significant milestone for the brand as it expands its retail presence in Kerala.
Located in the heart of Ernakulam, the new flagship showroom represents Vinsmera’s largest retail space in Kochi, offering customers an extensive collection of gold, diamond and traditional Polki jewellery.
The new Kochi showroom becomes the seventh outlet of the Vinsmera Group, marking another step in the brand’s ambitious expansion journey. Originally established in Kannur, the brand has expanded rapidly over the past year, opening stores across key Indian cities and strengthening its international presence in Gulf markets including Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Speaking about the launch, Co-founder Dinesh Kambrath, along with his brothers Anil, Manoj and Krishnan, highlighted the importance of the new showroom in the company’s growth journey. He noted that establishing seven major showrooms within a year reflects the collective efforts of the brand’s employees, artisans and wider network.
The decision to establish a flagship presence in Kochi was a strategic move, considering the city’s importance as Kerala’s commercial hub and its strong connection with the NRI community, particularly customers travelling between Kerala and the Middle East.
Through the Kochi showroom, Vinsmera aims to bring its craftsmanship closer to customers by connecting collections from its workshops in Kannur and Thrissur with the Ernakulam market. The brand’s operations are supported by a network of more than 1,000 skilled artisans.
The new showroom features a diverse jewellery portfolio, ranging from everyday wear collections to elaborate bridal designs. Highlights include the DZIRE collection, a contemporary diamond jewellery line launched specifically for the Kochi opening, and the Srishti bridal collection, featuring detailed uncut diamond jewellery.
Customers can also explore traditional Polki jewellery paired with emeralds and rubies, antique gold creations and lightweight 22-karat gold jewellery designed for everyday wear. The showroom includes dedicated private lounge areas for personalised bridal consultations and customer experiences.
The launch coincides with Vinsmera Jewels’ latest advertising campaign featuring Mohanlal, focusing on personal style, individuality and emotional connections with jewellery.
