New Delhi: Indriya, the fine jewellery brand from the Aditya Birla Group, took centre stage at Hyundai India Couture Week 2026 through its collaboration with House of Masaba for designer Masaba Gupta’s debut bridal runway show.
The partnership showcased a striking collection of gold and diamond jewellery created to complement Masaba Gupta’s Chardi Kala collection, celebrating bold colours, expressive silhouettes and modern Indian bridal aesthetics.
Moving away from understated designs, Indriya presented dramatic high jewellery creations featuring layered craftsmanship and statement-making silhouettes, showcasing how contemporary brides can embrace heritage jewellery with confidence and individuality.
The gold creations drew inspiration from India’s rich craft traditions, particularly the intricate Nakashi hand-carving technique. Heavy gold necklaces featured detailed temple-inspired motifs etched into the metal, creating a handcrafted, heritage-inspired aesthetic.
The runway also highlighted traditional jewellery forms that continue to hold cultural significance, including statement armlets such as the Devi Bhuja Vanki, intricate bajubands and elaborate hand harnesses. The collection brought together influences from different regions, combining Rajasthan-inspired heavy neckwear with delicate Eastern filigree techniques to create distinctive bridal silhouettes.
Beyond traditional yellow gold, Indriya showcased contemporary high jewellery pieces featuring structured diamond designs paired with rare coloured gemstones. A highlight of the collection was the Gloria suite, featuring statement earrings inspired by sweeping peacock feathers, crafted with diamonds, emeralds and blue-violet tanzanites.
The collection also celebrated India’s folk art traditions, drawing inspiration from Bihar’s Madhubani paintings for layered Sita Haars and extended Vanamala chains, along with Gujarat’s sacred Mata Ni Pachedi textiles, reflected through Polki-set swan and lotus motifs.
Speaking about the collaboration, Masaba Gupta shared that finding the right jewellery partner was an essential part of her couture debut, adding that Indriya brought together authentic storytelling with the trust and legacy associated with the Aditya Birla Group.
Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Design, Indriya, explained that the objective was to showcase how centuries-old craftsmanship techniques developed by master artisans can be reimagined through contemporary bridal fashion.
Adding to the occasion, veteran supermodel Madhu Sapre returned to the runway after nearly a decade, alongside Carol Gracias, Sheetal Mallar and Sakshi Sindwani, showcasing Indriya’s creations and adding further significance to the couture presentation.
Through this collaboration, Indriya highlighted the evolving relationship between heritage craftsmanship and modern luxury, demonstrating how traditional Indian jewellery can find new expression on contemporary global fashion platforms.
