Mumbai: GIVA has launched its festive campaign, ‘Pataka for Every Pataka’, featuring actor Shweta Tripathi alongside the introduction of its new Pataka Collection. Crafted in 925 sterling silver, the collection draws inspiration from Diwali firecrackers, traditional lamps and festive sweets, reinterpreting familiar celebratory elements through contemporary jewellery designs.
Built around the tagline ‘Har pataka deserves a pataka’, the campaign uses humour and playful storytelling to celebrate individuality and self-expression. The digital film takes inspiration from traditional firecracker packaging, which has historically featured portraits of women, and reimagines the concept by placing women at the centre of the narrative as wearers of the jewellery.
The film opens with Shweta Tripathi questioning why women should remain confined to firecracker packaging when they could instead wear jewellery inspired by the festive objects themselves. Through light-hearted dialogue and wordplay, the campaign introduces designs that transform familiar Diwali symbols into contemporary accessories.
Among the featured pieces are fountain-inspired drop earrings and a miniature rocket pendant. The film uses playful comparisons between conventional firecrackers and jewellery, positioning the designs as expressions of confidence and personal style rather than conventional festive adornments.
The Pataka Collection features colourful enamel detailing across three design themes, crafted in 925 sterling silver with gold and rose-gold finishes. The firecracker-inspired assortment includes spinning ground-spinner rings, rocket pendants and sparkler charm bracelets, incorporating movement and distinctive motifs into the designs.
Another segment draws inspiration from traditional Diwali decorations, translating diyas, lanterns and rangoli patterns into rings and drop earrings. These pieces combine recognisable festive elements with contemporary forms intended for celebratory dressing and gifting.
The collection also incorporates motifs inspired by popular Indian sweets, including kaju katli, gujiya and ladoos. These influences appear in diamond-shaped studs, textured half-moon rings and gold-beaded bracelets, adding a playful interpretation of festive traditions to the jewellery assortment.
Through the launch, GIVA is expanding its contemporary silver jewellery portfolio with designs that combine cultural references, accessible styling and individual expression. The collection targets consumers seeking distinctive accessories for festive occasions, personal purchases and gifting.
The campaign is being promoted across digital platforms, social media and creator collaborations, using Shweta Tripathi's screen presence to communicate the collection's playful design identity. The initiative also reflects GIVA's focus on connecting jewellery with contemporary lifestyle preferences through culturally relevant campaigns and product storytelling.
