Uttar Pradesh: PNG Jewellers has strengthened its retail presence in North India with the inauguration of its 82nd global store in Prayagraj on 4th November 2026. The new showroom was inaugurated by actor and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, marking another milestone in the company's nationwide expansion strategy.
Located at Sardar Patel Marg, Civil Lines, near Hotel Grand Continental, the new outlet becomes PNG Jewellers’ sixth store in Uttar Pradesh, following its presence in Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Ayodhya.
The inauguration also brought attention to the brand’s heritage-inspired jewellery offerings, with Ranaut showcasing an elaborate Ram Darbar-inspired gold jewellery ensemble. The traditional designs highlighted the cultural craftsmanship and intricate detailing associated with Indian temple jewellery.
The Prayagraj showroom operates under the company's franchise-owned, company-operated (FOCO) model, under which franchise partners invest in the outlet while PNG Jewellers oversees its operations, merchandising and customer experience.
Founded in 1832, PNG Jewellers has built a legacy spanning nearly two centuries, with a portfolio encompassing traditional gold ornaments, diamond jewellery, bridal collections and contemporary designs.
The expansion forms part of the company's ambitious retail growth roadmap. PNG Jewellers aims to reach approximately 103 stores by the end of FY2026–27, driven by new openings across northern and central India.
The company's retail strategy also reflects changing consumer preferences, with growing interest in lightweight jewellery, design-led collections and culturally inspired bridal ornaments.
According to the company's recent quarterly earnings commentary, consolidated revenue from operations rose 22% year-on-year to approximately ₹2,660 crore in the September 2026 quarter, while retail revenue increased 31% to around ₹2,061 crore.
With the Prayagraj launch, the company's network now comprises 68 Legacy-format stores and 14 YOOU stores, taking its overall footprint to 82 locations.
The latest opening reinforces PNG Jewellers’ efforts to combine its Maharashtra-rooted heritage with a broader national retail presence, positioning the brand for continued growth across India's evolving organised jewellery market.
