Material Good Shines on Court as Aryna Sabalenka Wears Bespoke Diamond Suite
France: Material Good, the New York-based luxury house, brought its high-jewellery vision to Court Philippe-Chatrier at Roland Garros in Paris, as Belarusian tennis champion Aryna Sabalenka wore the brand’s bespoke garnet-and-diamond suite during the French Open 2026.

Designed as a powerful extension of that on-court statement, the suite featured three bold necklaces crafted with over 200 carats of garnets and 23 carats of diamonds. Created to stack seamlessly, the necklaces formed one striking silhouette while allowing Sabalenka to move comfortably through every moment of the match.

The jewellery was inspired by the red clay courts of Roland Garros. Material Good used deep red garnets to reflect the colour of the court, while diamonds added sparkle, contrast and a luxury finish to the look.

A dynamic mix of stone shapes added depth and movement to the suite, echoing the energy of the game and reflecting Material Good’s signature multi-shape design language. The pieces balanced glamour with wearability, making the look powerful without taking away from Sabalenka’s performance.

Sabalenka’s on-court appearance highlighted a growing shift in luxury jewellery, where fine jewellery is moving beyond red carpets and entering global sporting arenas. On her, the suite became more than an accessory — it became part of her presence, confidence and identity on court.

For Material Good, the moment placed its craftsmanship at the centre of one of tennis’ most prestigious tournaments. The brand used colour, carat weight and design movement to create a jewellery story that connected directly with Roland Garros while celebrating Sabalenka’s strong and glamorous personality.

The appearance also reflects the rising connection between luxury brands and elite athletes, where jewellery is no longer limited to formal occasions but is being worn as a statement of power, style and individuality.
