Cardiff: Global fashion jewellery brand Lovisa is set to open a new flagship store at St David’s Cardiff, marking its second location within the shopping centre in the Welsh capital.

Cardiff is the capital city of Wales in the United Kingdom, while St David’s Cardiff is among the city’s key retail destinations. The new Lovisa store will be located on the first floor of the centre, close to Sephora and Hollister.

The upcoming flagship will showcase up to 15,000 jewellery and accessories styles, along with a professional piercing studio staffed by trained specialists. According to reports, the store will also offer free piercing with the purchase of selected studs, with special care packages available for children under nine years of age.

The store will strengthen Lovisa’s focus on accessible fashion jewellery, including sterling silver pieces, gold-plated styles, waterproof collections, trend-led accessories and piercing jewellery. The outlet will also feature the brand’s waterproof collection, offering more than 1,000 styles designed for everyday and summer wear.

Founded in Australia in 2010, Lovisa has grown into a major international fashion jewellery retailer with a presence across more than 50 countries. The brand is known for fast-moving collections inspired by couture runways, global street style and seasonal fashion trends.

Steven Malcolm, Regional Manager at Lovisa, said the brand was built on offering fashionable jewellery at accessible prices, with its creative team drawing inspiration from global fashion movements. He added that Lovisa introduces as many as 150 new styles each week, giving customers a wide choice of fresh designs.

Malcolm said the success of Lovisa’s first Cardiff store encouraged the brand to launch a new concept in the city. The upcoming outlet will be among only four “series 5” Lovisa stores in the UK featuring the brand’s new pink piercing studio.

Helen Morgan, Centre Director at St David’s, said Lovisa is already popular with visitors and added that the second store reflects the brand’s strong response at the shopping centre.

The expansion highlights Lovisa’s continued focus on fast-fashion jewellery, sterling silver designs, accessible pricing and experience-led retail. With its new Cardiff flagship, the brand is strengthening its UK presence while combining jewellery, accessories and piercing services under one retail format.
