New Delhi: The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), in collaboration with HRD Antwerp and the Embassy of Belgium in India, hosted the Indo-Belgian Diamond Forum in New Delhi at the residence of the Belgian Ambassador.

The forum, organised in association with INDRA—an initiative of De Beers Group and GJEPC—was supported by Shivam Jewels as the Diamond Partner and BVC Logistics as the Logistics Partner.

The event underscored the longstanding partnership between India and Belgium in the global diamond trade, serving as a strategic platform to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The forum was inaugurated in the presence of several key dignitaries, including Didier Vanderhasselt, Ambassador of Belgium to India; Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC; Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman of GJEPC; Mansukh Kothari, Convener – Events at GJEPC; Stanley De Belie, Chief Operating Officer of HRD Antwerp; and Ramakant Mitkar, Managing Director – India at HRD Antwerp.

A key highlight of the forum was a panel discussion examining critical developments across the diamond industry, with a focus on evolving consumer behaviour, branding strategies, and technological advancements shaping future Indo-Belgian collaboration.
