Monaco: Ananya Panday has joined Swiss luxury watch and jewellery house Piaget as a global Friend of the Maison, strengthening the growing presence of Indian personalities within international luxury circles.

The actor represented Piaget at the brand’s Colours of Extraleganza high jewellery gala in Monaco, held at Villa Cypris in Menton, overlooking the Mediterranean. The event marked the final chapter of Piaget’s vibrant Colours of Extraleganza trilogy, celebrating colour, craftsmanship, imagination and expressive luxury.

For the occasion, Ananya wore Piaget’s Sixtie High Jewellery cuff watch, a statement jewellery-watch creation that blends the elegance of a bracelet with the precision of a timepiece. The piece features an opal dial surrounded by diamonds and carries the Maison’s signature hand-engraved Decor Palace technique.

She paired the Piaget cuff watch with a copper corset-sari gown by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta from his Spring 2026 Haute Couture collection, creating a look that connected Indian couture with Swiss high jewellery craftsmanship.

Ananya shared her experience through a “48 hours in Monaco with Piaget” carousel on Instagram, bringing the brand moment to a wider fashion and luxury audience.

Her association with Piaget is significant because the title Friend of the Maison is often used by luxury houses to build long-term relationships with global cultural personalities. While it is not the same as a full brand ambassadorship, the role places Ananya within Piaget’s international network of luxury faces and creative collaborators.

Speaking about the development, Ananya said it felt special to see Indian representation becoming more natural in global luxury spaces.

The Piaget gala also featured fashion presentations and a special performance by fellow Friend of the Maison Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The collection highlighted Piaget’s colourful and expressive approach to high jewellery, where precious stones, jewellery watches and artistic design codes come together in a bold luxury language.

Ananya’s Piaget association comes at a time when her luxury portfolio continues to expand. She became Chanel’s first Indian brand ambassador in 2025 and was also recently named ambassador for Chanel Beauty. In India, she was announced as the face of Tanishq for its Festival of Diamonds campaign in January 2026.

The development reflects a wider global luxury trend, where international maisons are increasingly engaging Indian celebrities and cultural figures to connect with India’s expanding luxury consumer base. From jewellery and watches to fashion and beauty, Indian faces are now becoming more visible across global luxury campaigns and high-profile events.

For Piaget, Ananya’s presence at the Colours of Extraleganza gala brings together youth appeal, Indian luxury visibility and the Maison’s heritage in jewellery watches. The Sixtie cuff watch, with its sculptural format and gem-set detailing, also reinforces the growing importance of jewellery watches as statement pieces within high jewellery storytelling.

Ananya Panday’s role as Friend of the Maison places her within a new generation of Indian talent representing global luxury brands on international platforms. It also highlights how jewellery houses are using cultural relevance, celebrity presence and design craftsmanship to shape the next phase of luxury communication.
